Job Description:
Create and update electrical drawings and schematics. Prepare detailed working diagrams of Electrical equipment and installations, including dimensions, BOM, and other engineering information. Work with both Electrical and Mechanical Engineers/Designers to accuracy of drawing packages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee AutoCAD Electrical drawing standards, symbol libraries, and parts catalogues.
- Under direction of Electrical Engineers and Designers, create and update electrical drawings, schematics and reports.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings for manufacturing and installation.
- In SolidWorks, under direction of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers/Designers, develop and update Electro-Mechanical Layouts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD ELECTRICAL
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, experience would be an asset.
- Experience reading and interpreting Electrical Schematics and GA’s.
- Familiarity of Canadian Electrical Code would be an asset.
- Familiarity with drafting standards and symbols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrate knowledge and an understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
