Assist Accounts Receivable Supervisor with daily cheque deposits and follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable issues
Coordinate the handling of requests for insurance certificates
Support the Accounts Payable vendor setup process
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
Assist the Finance team during interim, hard close, year-end, and other audit/review procedures
Ensure readiness and accuracy of financial documents and reports
Communicate effectively with other departments
Provide advanced day-to-day accounting support for the company’s multiple business entities
Ensure adherence to/compliance with accounting and firm’s policies and procedures
Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Experience/education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an asset
Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle and SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $45,800 - $76,300. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
