SOX Controls Analyst

Job details

We are seeking a SOX Controls Analyst role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with GAAP and SOX, be able to work with little instruction, and have strong understanding of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR). Specific responsibilities include:
Required Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. CGA, CMA, CA or MBA preferred.
- Two- plus years experience in Audit, Consulting, or Accounting. Big 4 experience a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access) and Visio.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently.
- Quick learner with excellent interpersonal and time management skills and is a team player who is highly motivated and detail-oriented.
- Ability to prepare and articulate objective, defensible, fact-based information.
- A desire to understand the systems and processes under review and Company operations, policies and procedures.
