MicroAge Basics is privately owned and operated systems integrator and IT Solutions provider located along the shores of Lake Huron in Goderich, Kincardine and Wingham, Ontario. This is an in person position at 223 Huron Road, Goderich, ON. Hours are 8:30AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday. Successful candidate must live within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide onsite and remote support to customers to resolve their technical issues, and manage warranty repairs
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks based on severity,
Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standardized processes.
Install, and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure, telephone systems, copiers/MFPs and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.
Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware and software issues, emails, network and peripheral equipment problems, etc. Make repairs and corrections where required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Certification: CompTIA A+
Experience with Asterisk and Linux.
You must have a valid driver's license
Wage is negotiable based on experience.
