Role: Program Manager
Hours: 30 hrs/week
Part-time Permanent
Salary: $58,800-61,600 (Band 2)
This is an in-person role that requires you to be on location in Revelstoke.

About the Role
The Program and Services Manager provides leadership and oversight for assigned residential programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centred supports for individuals with diverse abilities. This role is responsible for leading employees, overseeing day-to-day operations, fostering positive relationships with families and community partners, and ensuring services are delivered safely and in accordance with organizational policies and funding requirements.
Role Complexity
This role requires knowledge of crisis management and experience in recruitment/scheduling in smaller communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of employees through coaching, supervision, and performance management.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of assigned residential programs.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred supports that promote the rights, independence, and well-being of individuals served.
- Participate in employee recruitment, onboarding, and development in partnership with Human Resources.
- Collaborate with families, community partners, and other professionals to support positive outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, health and safety standards, and funding requirements.
- Respond to operational and emergency situations while providing leadership and guidance to employees.
- Monitor program resources, documentation, and maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in a related health, human, or social services field preferred.
- One to three years of leadership or management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting adults with diverse abilities is an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills
- Class 4 license or obtain within first 6 months of the role
