Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Carpenter/Foreman to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and proficiency in industry-related tasks. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring quality standards, managing project Details, and keeping managent informed and updated with project progression. Candidate must be able to interpret simple and/or complex schematics and blueprints in order to deliver successful project outcomes. The Lead Hand will play a pivitol role in coordinating construction activities, delegating tasks to other crew, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Daily tasks May include:
-driving truck and trailer to different sites, while able to maneuver a trailer in tight areas.
-helping set up crew on a day to day basis, this includes moving required tools from trailer to the site grounds.
Duties
- Lead and supervise construction teams, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety regulations
- Oversee daily construction operations, coordinating tasks among subcontractors and workers
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies throughout all phases of construction
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management processes
- Extensive construction experience with knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage resources effectively
- Excellent communication skills for working alongside other coworkers
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Construction-related certifications or licenses are preferred but not mandatory
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
