Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process payments with cash handling skills.
- Provide friendly and attentive guest service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in compliance with sanitation regulations.
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously during busy periods.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality or guest services experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
