We are currently seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team — someone who brings strong technical skill, leadership, and a commitment to supporting Northern and Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of carpentry duties including framing, roofing, siding, finishing, and general construction work
- Interpret and build from blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople, and community members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Mentor and support apprentices and labourers, helping build local talent and capacity
- Promote and uphold safety standards, cleanliness, and cultural awareness on all job sites
- Contribute to building homes, infrastructure, and lasting connections in Northern communities
Qualifications
- Red Seal Journeyperson Carpenter certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential or commercial construction
- Comfortable working in remote environments and Indigenous communities
- Experience leading apprentices or junior crew members is a strong asset
- Valid First Aid, WHMIS, and NWT Supervisor Level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
