Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Carpenter Apprentice. This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about carpentry and looking to gain hands-on experience in the field. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters and learn various aspects of the trade. Experience in residential framing and must be confident working at heights.
Duties:
- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials
- Assist with framing, siding, flooring, cabinet installation, and tile laying
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints, building plans, and specifications
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Experience:
- Previous experience in carpentry is preferred but not required
-Experience in residential framing
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment
-Need to be able to work at heights (training provided if needed)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of electrical systems installation is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
