In-Home Sales Representative – Windows, Doors & Exterior Home Improvements Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused In-Home Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role involves meeting with homeowners to provide professional consultations and estimates for a range of exterior home improvement products, including windows, entry doors, patio doors, garage doors, siding, fencing, and interlock projects.
Qualified leads and appointments are provided by the company, allowing you to focus on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and closing sales. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys meeting customers face-to-face and helping them improve their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners at pre-scheduled appointments.
- Assess customer needs, property conditions, and project requirements.
- Present product options and solutions for:
- Windows
- Entry doors
- Patio doors
- Garage doors
- Siding
- Fencing
- Interlock
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals using company pricing guidelines.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, warranties, and financing options.
- Build trust and maintain a professional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Follow up with prospective customers to answer questions and secure sales.
- Maintain detailed records of appointments, quotes, and sales activities.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance targets.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience, preferably in home improvement, construction, renovation, or a related field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with homeowners.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required to accommodate customer schedules.
Preferred
- Experience selling windows, doors, siding, fencing, garage doors, landscaping, or similar home improvement products.
- Knowledge of residential construction and renovation projects.
- Experience in closing on the spot
