We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining high clinical and sterilization standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms and instruments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols according to Ontario standards
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure patient comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies when required
- Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant Level II preferred
- HARP certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with dental software is an asset
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental practice
