Position Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Hydrocam's daily field operations, including CCTV inspections, flushing, hydrovac excavation, pressure washing, septic pumping, CIPP installations, and other related services. Reporting directly to the President, the Site Supervisor ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with client requirements, company standards, and all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
This is a leadership position requiring sound decision-making, strong organizational skills, and the ability to respond to operational needs outside of regular business hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily field operations, ensuring crews, equipment, and materials are scheduled effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Lead and support field employees by providing direction, coaching, training, and performance feedback while promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project scope, client specifications, municipal standards, and company procedures.
- Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and daily safety meetings while ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Review and approve work orders, inspection reports, photos, videos, disposal records, testing results, and other project documentation to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, and budgets, resolving field issues quickly to minimize delays and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, engineers, inspectors, municipalities, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensure all trucks, equipment, and tools are properly maintained, inspected, and prepared for daily operations while coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance as required.
- Participate in operational planning meetings and maintain an up-to-date understanding of all active projects and work in progress.

The Site Supervisor is expected to:
- Arrive prepared and ready to lead each day while setting a professional example for the team.
- Ensure all work orders and project documentation are completed accurately and closed daily.
- Respond promptly to operational calls, emails, and client inquiries.
- Maintain safe, organized, and productive job sites with minimal downtime.
- Hold employees accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and company standards.
- Review and understand the project scope before work begins and ensure crews follow approved work plans.
- Support after-hours and emergency operations when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience in hydrovac, CCTV inspection, municipal infrastructure, construction, environmental services, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, underground infrastructure, health and safety legislation, and environmental regulations.
- Proven leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel throughout Ontario and Quebec and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to operational emergencies as required.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
