Job Overview
The Restaurant Host/Hostess is the first and last impression of the guest experience. You’ll greet guests with a warm smile, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service.
Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival

Manage reservations and walk-in seating using a reservation system

Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations

Escort guests to their tables and provide menus

Communicate seating needs with servers and management

Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant

Monitor dining room flow and assist with table turnover as needed
Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred

Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., Tock) is a plus

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
