We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff
- Support food service operations by preparing ingredients and organizing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Help with basic cooking tasks as needed, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers following safety protocols
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure timely service
Skills
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
