Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organizing tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding or passing tools and materials as needed
- Perform basic construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Operate manual or power tools under supervision while adhering to safety protocols
- Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Assist with site cleanup and waste removal to ensure a tidy work area
- Support project teams with miscellaneous tasks as assigned to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or related manual labour preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction or maintenance work is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various job site requirements
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for consistent attendance
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
