Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
- Follow all food handling protocols to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations
- Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy service periods
- Adhere to serving standards, ensuring excellent customer service during interactions with guests
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices is advantageous
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations will help ensure success in this role
- Knowledge of serving standards and food service procedures is a plus
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
