Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cutter Seamstress to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting and preparing fabric or materials according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various tools and machinery. The Cutter Seamstress plays a vital part in the production process, contributing to the timely delivery of finished products while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Cut fabric or materials precisely according to patterns and specifications using hand tools, power tools
- Operate and maintain cutting equipment such as fabric cutters, and other manufacturing tools
- Measure materials accurately using measuring devices
- Assist with assembly and sewing processes as needed to ensure seamless production flow
- Perform quality checks on cut pieces to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members in warehouse or manufacturing environments to meet production goals
- Handle heavy lifting of materials or finished products safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in cutting and sewing
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measurement skills
- Prior experience with assembly or fabric cutting is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
