Job Overview
We are the Yukon's largest and busiest tourist destination. Each day, we welcome hundreds of guests - many arriving on tour buses, as well as road trippers, locals, and independent travellers. Our site includes a dining hall and bar, production kitchen, gift shop, museum, small cafe, petting farm, gold panning, and dog cart experiences. Each summer, we hire a dedicated team of Food & Beverage Assistants who help support the high-volume operations. Experience is an asset but not required - we value a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude above all.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the coordination of daily dining room and bar service
- Welcoming and seating guests in a friendly
- Light food preparation (eg. making donuts and bread rolls)
- Serving food and drinks (including bar service where applicable and legally permitted
- Operating POS systems and processing payments
- Supporting bar operations, including preparation of beverages and maintaining stock
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures for the dining room and bar
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the dining room, bar area, and service stations
- Setting and clearing tables, washing glassware and dishes as required
- Following all health, safety, responsible service of alcohol, and hygiene standards
- Providing exceptional guest service and contributing to a positive dining experience
