Pinecrest Construction is seeking an experienced Drywall Finisher (Independent Contractor) for residential renovation projects throughout Ottawa.
This is a project-based subcontract opportunity for an independent contractor who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to produce smooth, paint-ready surfaces
- Complete drywall repairs, patching, and texture matching
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work independently while meeting project schedules and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of drywall finishing experience
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Own transportation and professional tools
- Valid WSIB Clearance Certificate (or exemption, if applicable)
- Commercial General Liability Insurance
Compensation
- $30.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and project requirements.
- For applicable projects, compensation may also be offered on a per square foot basis, depending on the scope of work.
