Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Dog Groomers to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent grooming skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves grooming a variety of dog breeds, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for both pets and clients. Prior experience in grooming, along with strong communication skills, is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches tailored to each dog's breed and owner preferences
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client needs and offering grooming advice
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work area to ensure a safe environment
- Handle dogs with care, patience, and professionalism, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Manage heavy lifting of grooming equipment or large dogs as needed
- Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize daily workflow and client satisfaction
- Educate pet owners on grooming routines, aftercare, and product recommendations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dog Groomer with a strong portfolio of completed work
- Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements
- Ability to handle dogs of all temperaments with patience and compassion
- Excellent customer service skills to build lasting client relationships
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks associated with grooming large dogs or handling equipment
- Prior experience in a professional grooming salon or similar environment is preferred
