Founded in 1999 as Volleyball Stuff in Calgary, Alberta, we originally focused on volleyball-specific apparel and equipment before expanding into a broader range of sportswear and corporate apparel.

We are currently looking for a Customer Service and Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day operations and help ensure an excellent experience for our customers and team.
Position Overview
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities throughout the day. The role combines customer service, office administration, and general operational support in a fast-paced environment.
You will assist with customer communication, order coordination, office organization, and administrative tasks that help keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Assist customers by phone, email, and in person with product questions, order updates, and general inquiries.
- Manage and process online orders while coordinating with inventory and production teams.
- Coordinate customer pickups, returns, exchanges, and refunds.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with customers regarding order status and timelines.
- Help ensure a positive customer experience through accurate and friendly service.
Administrative Support:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and take messages when required.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Assist with general office organization and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate office supplies, staff lunches, hotel bookings, and team logistics.
- Support meeting coordination and day-to-day office activities.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of shared office spaces.
- Assist with inventory tracking and organization of made-to-order products.
- Collect and organize invoices from vendors, suppliers, and departments for record keeping.
- Support communication and coordination between departments when needed.
- Assist with additional projects and operational tasks during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, administration, or related roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, dependable, and solution-oriented attitude.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Experience with Google Workspace, Shopify, or shipping/order platforms is considered an asset.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to maintain a positive attitude.

This is an in-person position based in Calgary, Alberta.
The role may involve busy periods tied to production schedules, tournaments, events, and seasonal deadlines. Candidates should be comfortable working in an environment where priorities can shift throughout the day.
