Sales Representative – Lowbed & Specialized Trailer Division
Are you passionate about heavy equipment, transportation, and building long-term customer relationships? We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Representative to join our clients growing team, specializing in the sales of lowbed trailers, tag trailers, and specialized hauling solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with industry knowledge who enjoys working directly with contractors, transportation companies, equipment dealers, and fleet operators to provide customized trailer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify new business opportunities within the construction, transportation, aggregate, and heavy equipment industries.
- Consult with customers to recommend trailer solutions that best meet their operational needs.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and successfully close sales.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, features, and applications.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry through delivery.
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of heavy equipment and specialized trailers, along with a proven ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Previous sales experience within the heavy equipment, trailer, truck, or transportation industry.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Lowbed trailers
- Tag trailers
- Steering dollies
- Specialized hauling equipment
- Solid understanding of heavy construction equipment, including:
- Excavators
- Wheel Loaders
- Paving Equipment
- Crushing and Screening Equipment
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand equipment specifications and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Experience working within the construction, transportation, or heavy equipment industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple customer accounts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel to customer locations as required.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
