We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Building Cleaner to join our team in Atikokan. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, lobbies, hallways, and common areas within commercial buildings
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors and surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to pass a criminal background check
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
- Reliable transportation is preferred for timely access to various job sites
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
