Responsibilities
Operating Room:
- Assist surgeon during cataract & refractive procedures
- Maintain sterile field and surgical instruments
- Prepare and turn over OR between cases
- Follow infection control and OHP protocols
Requirements
- Experience in ophthalmology clinic OR operating room (2+ years preferred)
- One of the following:
- RPN / RN
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant / Technician (COA / COT)
- Surgical Assistant / Surgical Technologist
- Sterile Processing Technician with OR exposure
- Knowledge of aseptic technique / sterile field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have
- Cataract surgery experience
- Experience in private surgical clinics
Schedule
- Part-time
- 3–4 Thursdays per month (7:30 AM – ~4 PM)
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
