Position Overview
We are a locally owned flooring store seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is essential to our daily operations and involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing customer orders, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Shipping and receiving of flooring and tile products
- Order picking and fulfillment with a high level of accuracy
- Safe operation of a forklift
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to provide a criminal record check
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Fluent in English
- Previous forklift operating experience is an asset
