Headquartered in Burnaby, BC, our team operates actively across multiple Canadian provinces, including BC, Alberta, Ontario, the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, and Manitoba—as well as select U.S. states.
With a strong pipeline of projects nationwide, we're expanding our scaffolding department and looking for talented Scaffold Designers to join our Burnaby office- though for the right person, we are open to candidates working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Create highly detailed 2D and 3D scaffolding drawings using AutoCAD.
- Accurately interpret engineering specifications, structural sketches, and site layouts to produce clear erection drawings.
- Collaborate directly with our engineering team to ensure design safety, code compliance and constructability.
- Maintain a good understanding of proprietary industrial scaffolding components, assembly methodologies, and configuration variants.
- Manage your own workload and have the ability to deliver projects on time when project demand increases.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven technical background with extensive, specialized experience in scaffolding design.
- High AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong technical drafting skills with a strict focus on dimensional accuracy, spacing, and structural geometry.
- Ability to read and accurately translate technical engineering sketches and structural markups.
- Strong self-discipline and organizational skills, with a dependable, collaborative approach to meeting deadlines.
- Clear, professional communication with our engineering team, including the ability to give and receive technical feedback effectively in both remote and in-person settings.
