Job Responsibilities for Customer Service Representative – Export Ocean Cargo:
-
Respond to customer inquiries for export cargo both via email and telephone

Create, amend or transfer export bookings utilizing appropriate Systems and Guidelines
-
Communicate cross functionally to manage customer expectation, equipment and space availability and escalate to direct management as required

Promote utilization of OOCL online tools
Preferred Skills:

Customer Service Experience

Attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills

Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

The annualized base salary for this position ranges from $45,000.00 CAD to $55,000.00 CAD excluding fringe benefits. If hired at OOCL, the final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we also consider internal equity as part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
