Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Door & Hardware Installer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, hands-on professional with a strong mechanical aptitude and at least five years of daily experience in Commercial Door Hardware installation and repair. The Installer will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the layout, takeoff, fabrication, installation, and repair of commercial door and window systems, including:
- Hollow metal, wood, and aluminum storefront/commercial doors
- Door hardware installation and repair
- Automatic operators and automatic doors
- Interior and exterior glazing
- Execute welding tasks when necessary, adhering to safety protocols
- Timely knock-down frames and lite kit cutouts
- AAADM Certification preferred but not required
Experience
- Five or more years of daily experience in commercial doors and door hardware
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in installation processes is essential
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Clean driver record and a driver's license
