What you will do in this role:
- Foster a positive work environment that supports and promotes exceptional Guest-focused service
- Evaluate the effectiveness and report on the metrics of all programs to the General Manager
- Manage teammate relations including recruitment, scheduling, training & developing, coaching and recognition
- Manage front of house, according to East Side Mario’s steps of service
- Promote a work environment for employees that is healthy, safe and based on respect and trust
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and lead a team of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
- Train and develop employees to provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
What we are looking for:
- Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays
- Previous management experience working in a high-volume casual dining restaurant
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Exceptional business acumen and team building skills
- Experience with orders, schedules and costing
- Smart Serve Certification
- Food Handlers Certification
- First Aid Certification
