Super Save Group is seeking a Hydrovac driver. This position entails all aspects of operating our Hydrovac trucks to perform excavation tasks.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain compliance and operational safety.
- Operation of hydrovac trucks and associated equipment to perform excavation tasks.
- Coordination with external contractors on jobsites to ensure the work is being completed as required.
- Working in a physically demanding, safety focused environment in all weather conditions.
- Promptly report any incidents and complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Comfortable working in enclosed spaces.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
What you bring:
- Minimum one year of Class 1 or 3 driving with an 18-speed manual transmission. As well as, a clean driver’s abstract.
- Able to follow safe operating practices within our Health and Safety Program.
- Capable of handling the physical labour necessary to complete tasks.
- Proven ability to maneuver trucks in tight or challenging spaces.
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and dispatchers.
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service and professionalism.
- Prior experience operating a Hydrovac truck preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and adherence to company safety standards.
