AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR (SALES & BAY MANAGEMENT)

THIS IS NOT A BASIC SERVICE ADVISOR ROLE
We’re not looking for someone to just book oil changes.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Takes control of the customer interaction
- Builds value on every vehicle
- Manages workflow and keeps the shop moving
- Balances sales, service, and operations in real time
This is a front counter + shop control role.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will be responsible for both sales performance and bay management.
Front Counter / Sales:
- Handle customers in person, over the phone, and online
- Ask the right questions and understand customer needs
- Recommend maintenance and repairs with confidence
- Present inspection results and guide customers through decisions
Bay Management / Operations:
- Control shop flow and manage vehicle movement through the bays
- Prioritize work and dispatch jobs efficiently to technicians
- Balance technician productivity with incoming workload
- Keep jobs moving to avoid bottlenecks and delays
- Communicate clearly with the team to maintain efficiency
Overall:
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Deliver a consistent, professional customer experience

WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in automotive service (Midas, Mr. Lube, dealerships, etc.)
- Experience dispatching or managing workflow in a shop environment
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance
- Experience with shop management systems (AutoLeap is an asset)
