Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, taking and serving orders, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and food handling procedures.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Operate POS systems efficiently for order entry and cashiering, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as per legal requirements
- Ensure cleanliness and proper food safety standards are maintained at all times
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist in setting up dining areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and cash handling tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment under pressure
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to serve alcohol legally where applicable
