Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems, including CCTV and low voltage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking and mechanical knowledge to ensure that installations are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Install and configure CCTV systems, ensuring proper functionality and security.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks.
- Work with low voltage wiring and components to connect devices according to schematics.
- Detect and troubleshoot issues within installed systems, providing solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls for future reference.
- Work will be in Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural settings
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to computer hardware and networking.
- Performing overhead work (Lifts & Ladders) to install or repair when needed
- Work will be Inside and Outside all year round
- Troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve
Experience
- Proven experience in installation or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts and IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience working with low voltage systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Class G license with a clean driving record & Criminal record
- Preferred candidate will have First Aid, Fall arrest and WAH
