Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, handle and transactions accurately. This role requires strong communication, time management, and organizational skills to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling and credit transactions
- Provide product demos and explain features to customers when needed
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage cash register operations
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Support team members with additional tasks as required to enhance customer satisfaction
Skills
- Experience in retail sales and cashiering preferred
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude
- Organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
