Are you an experienced technician with a passion for powersports and marine equipment? We're looking for a skilled Powersports/Marine Technician to join our growing service team. This is not an apprentice position; we are seeking a fully capable technician with proven industry experience who can independently diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of powersports and marine products.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Experience with BRP products, including Can-Am, Sea-Doo, and Ski-Doo, is considered a strong asset, but we welcome experienced technicians from other powersports, marine, motorcycle, automotive, or related mechanical backgrounds.

Martin Motor Sports is a leading recreational and powersports dealer group with locations across Western Canada. We specialize in the sale, service, and support of premium powersports products, including BRP brands (such as Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, and Can-Am), along with marine and other recreational equipment.
In addition to our retail and dealership operations, Martin Motor Sports has a growing e-commerce presence, allowing us to support customers both in-store and online. We are committed to delivering a high-quality customer experience, supported by knowledgeable teams and strong operational support across all locations.
Responsibilities:
· Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on powersports and marine products, including ATVs, side-by-sides, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, and boats.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical, fuel, hydraulic, steering, cooling, and drive systems.
· Complete manufacturer-scheduled maintenance and warranty repairs according to specifications.
· Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical resources to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
· Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and quality-control checks on new and used units.
· Accurately document repair orders, diagnostics, parts requirements, and completed work.
· Communicate findings and repair recommendations to Service Advisors and customers when required.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
· Ensure repairs are completed within established timelines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
· Stay current with evolving technology, products, and manufacturer service procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Powersports Technician, Marine Technician, Motorcycle Technician or similar role.
· BRP experience preferred but not required.
· Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
