Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team on weekend days (FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. A background in law enforcement or security is preferred, along with experience in surveillance and loss prevention.
Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents or irregularities observed during patrols or surveillance.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Qualifications
MUST have a valid security license, valid class G drivers license and be over 25 years of age with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
