Job Description: Job Title: Oracle PL-SQL Developer

Role Descriptions:
- Database Development: Design and implement database objects including tables, views, indexes, and sequences. Write and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to implement business logic.
- Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using tools like Oracle Cloud Control, AWR reports, and EXPLAIN PLAN. Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for maximum scalability and speed.
- System Administration: Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database software. Manage database storage, plan for capacity growth, and handle routine patching and maintenance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures, including data encryption, user access controls, and auditing. Ensure systems comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Backup & Recovery: Develop and execute strategies for database backup and disaster recovery using tools like Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
- Data Migration & ETL: Design and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to migrate data between systems or into data warehouses using utilities like SQL*Loader and Data Pump.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field is typically required.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of Oracle Database architecture (e.g., versions 12c, 19c) and advanced PL/SQL programming techniques such as bulk processing, collection types, and error handling.
- Tools: Proficiency with administrative and development tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, and Oracle Enterpr ise Manager (OEM).
- Environment Knowledge: Experience working in Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting for automation.
- Certifications: Professional credentials such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) are highly valued for verifying technical proficiency.
- ESP Scheduler - Knowledge on ESP scheduler is desirable.
