Looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker for custom millwork/cabinet shop. The position would include the following duties and responsibilities:
- Study plans, specifications of drawings and blueprints of articles to be made
- Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape, and form parts and components
- Sand wooden services and cabinets to prepare for staining
- Prepare and assemble cabinets for installation
- Fit and install cabinets and custom millwork
- Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations
Skills/Personal Suitability
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Minimum secondary school education preferred
- Skilled in machining, finishing and installation
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to maintain and promote a positive attitude, teamwork and cooperation
