Dump Truck Driver (DZ/AZ)
Location: Timmins, Ontario
Schedule: Full-Time | 45–60 Hours per Week (Based on Employee Preference and Operational Needs)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregates, sand, gravel, topsoil, and other construction materials to and from job sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and equipment care.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate tri-axle dump trucks on public roads and construction sites.
- Transport aggregates, topsoil, sand, gravel, and other materials efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and required documentation.
- Follow all provincial traffic laws, company policies, and Ministry of Transportation regulations.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and well-maintained truck.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
- Load and unload materials safely
- Work safely around heavy equipment and personnel on active construction sites.
- Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or incidents immediately.
Qualifications - Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of dump truck driving experience in Canada.
- Minimum 3 years of experience holding a valid Canadian DZ or AZ driver's licence.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating manual transmission commercial trucks.
Requirements
- Valid Canadian DZ or AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario traffic laws and commercial vehicle regulations.
- Ability to safely operate on construction sites, quarries, pits, and public roadways.
- Strong understanding of load securement and safe hauling practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks when required.

Hours
- Full-time position.
