Job Title: Senior & junior C&B Ceramist (Master of Finishing & Esthetics)
Compensation: $20.00 – $40.00 per hour (Based on manual artistry skills) Job Type: Full-time (Part-time negotiable)
About JBI Dental Solutions: We are a high-end digital laboratory where technology meets craftsmanship. While our digital design team handles the initial CAD workflow, we are seeking a Master Ceramist to bring those designs to life through exceptional hand-finishing and artistic layering.
Your Role (Focus on Craftsmanship):
- Aesthetic Finishing: Take milled Zirconia and E.max units and refine them through expert hand-contouring and anatomical detailing.
- Ceramic Layering: Perform high-end porcelain buildup for anterior and complex aesthetic cases.
- Staining & Glazing: Master internal and external staining techniques to achieve perfect shade matching with clinical photos.
- Quality Control: Ensure the final fit, occlusion, and surface texture meet our "zero-defect" standard before shipping.
What We Are Looking For:
- The "Artist" Touch: Someone who takes pride in the final visual and functional result of every crown and bridge.
- Material Expert: Deep understanding of porcelain behavior, shade gradients, and translucency.
- Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with our digital design department to ensure the physical unit matches the digital intent.
- Experience: Significant experience in manual ceramic work (C&B).
- Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
(Note: This position does NOT require CAD/CAM design work, as we have a dedicated digital team. This is a bench-focused role for a true craftsman.)
