Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge in building systems, and leadership abilities to ensure properties are maintained efficiently and tenants' needs are met promptly. Duties
- Manage and coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and renovations, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, providing leadership and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
- Oversee project management activities related to property improvements or upgrades, including scheduling and budgeting.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
- Monitor building systems such as HVAC, electrical, low voltage systems, and mechanical equipment; perform or coordinate repairs as needed.
- Review schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to industrial maintenance and building operations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to prolong equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.
- Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members in English to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for reporting purposes.
- Including cleaning maintenance; sweeping of the building.
Experience
- Proven management or supervising experience in property management, manufacturing facilities, or industrial maintenance environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Mechanical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical (including low voltage), and industrial equipment.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
- Knowledge of schematics for electrical or mechanical systems is advantageous.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
- Background in industrial maintenance or manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required to liaise with team members and vendors effectively.
