About the role:
Based on site, at the downtown Vancouver campus, and reporting to the Head of Student Recruitment, Marketing and Outreach, the Admissions & Community Outreach Coordinator will lead direct-to-consumer (DTC) recruitment efforts and activity to help meet sales targets for our growing Vancouver Career Colleges campus through high-quality support, expert knowledge of our programs, strong domestic recruitment techniques, and excellent customer service.
This involves developing strategies to build our Vancouver campus domestic student pipeline in partnership with the marketing team, nurturing student leads through phone calls, emails, texts, and in-person campus tours, community outreach, career fairs, sourcing out and attending relevant events, and leading all recruitment activities for OICC-Vancouver.
Recruitment and Admissions Advisor
- Connect with students promptly and warmly in multiple modes to give the potential students a premium experience
- Deliver on student recruitment targets set out in the budgets.
- Develop and implement domestic recruitment strategies for Oxford International Career Colleges-Vancouver(OICC Vancouver)
- Build, understand and report on where we are winning and losing students in the recruitment process. Pivot and adapt those learning quickly.
- Plan and deliver creative, effective, and budget-conscious recruitment activities
- Attend to student appointments/bookings within a reasonable timeframe and commit to moving the student further down the funnel
- Stay connected with each student through each step of their journey, from application, to enrolment to graduation, and help them ensure success each step of the way.
- Build a deep understanding of OICC Vancouver programs, student personas, pricing, scholarships, and the competitive market
Community and Outreach
- Identify, build and maintain relationships with local high school counsellors, settlement and employment organizations, immigration advisors, Indigenous groups, and local communities
- Represent Oxford International at community events, career fairs, and high schools across British-Colombia
- Identify and promote local, provincial, and federal funding or scholarship opportunities for students
Collaboration and Reporting
- Partner closely with marketing, admissions, and operations to ensure a seamless student journey from inquiry to enrolment
- Be an integral and central part of the Canada team across marketing, recruitment, admissions, operations, and school staff to ensure a smooth student experience from enquiry and application to enrolment.
- Track leads, applications, and conversions using CRM tools (HubSpot)
- Analyse trends and performance data to refine recruitment strategies and inform future planning

A seasoned recruiter with at least 3 years’ experience in Career College recruitment, where employment outcomes and career readiness are top priorities
- Well-connected within the British Colombia area, with established relationships among settlement agencies, employment centres, and community organizations
- Motivated, flexible, and solution-oriented – you respond positively to new challenges and bring creative ideas to your work
- Data-driven and strategic, with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets
- Tech-savvy and proficient in CRM tools (preferably HubSpot)
- A supportive student advisor who leads in empathy, drives results through accountability, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- A confident communicator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- It would be an asset if you have proficiency in languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Punjabi, or Tagalog
