Room Attendant/Housekeeper

Job Summary:
As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's guest rooms. Your primary responsibilities will involve preparing rooms for new arrivals, restocking supplies, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and vacuuming
- Restock and replenish room amenities, such as towels, toiletries, and other supplies
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate team members
- Ensure all assigned areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any guest requests or concerns promptly and courteously
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-service-oriented demeanor
Working Conditions:
This position requires standing for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. The schedule may include flexible or variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of our hotel guests.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a temporary position with a pay rate of $20 per hour, and shared staff accommodation is provided.
