Warehouse Associate/Worker (Temporary to full time position)
- Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. for day shift and $19.80/hr. for the afternoon shift
- Day shift times: 6:15 am to 2:45 pm
- Afternoon shift times: 3pm to 11:30pm
- Available: Monday to Friday
- Location: Oakville
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving, sortation, Clean & Screen functionality testing/Firmware upgrade and kitting production of electronics products
- Report to the Department Head and Operations Managers
- Can use RF scanner and computer for basic data entry.
- Screen & Clean Replacing parts when required.
- Responsible for any outbound shipments that need to be scanned, processed, and manifested.
- Experience working in high-speed, high-volume environment.
- Will need to scan and sort packages onto commercial pallets to specific locations indicated.
- Ability to use material handling equipment such as a pallet jack and shrink wrap machine.
- Maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing.
- Attention to detail is must.
Required Skill Experience:
- Must have a reliable car (due to location/commute).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a General Labourer or Warehouse Associate.
- Strong computer skills and general tech proficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working in high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e., testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer.
