Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items including ice cream treats, snacks, and beverages with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer transactions accurately while providing friendly and efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service areas
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Follow sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for both guests and staff
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service is preferred; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
