Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead our store operations and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Duties
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
- Lead, motivate, and develop retail staff through effective training and coaching
- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory management to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct recruiting efforts, interview potential candidates, and participate in hiring decisions
- Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and ensure accurate financial procedures
- Develop marketing initiatives to promote store products and increase foot traffic
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized store environment
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management, supervising teams, and sales management
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, and basic math for pricing and bookkeeping
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Expertise in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and store management
- Skilled in negotiation, marketing strategies, time management, organizational skills, and supervising staff
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Experience in administrative tasks such as payroll processing, cash handling, and recordkeeping
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
