Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional cleaning services, adhering to hotel standards, and maintaining high levels of hospitality. Duties
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other designated spaces
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and use of cleaning equipment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality service
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor suitable for guest interactions
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Experience with industrial or custodial cleaning is a plus but not required
