Junior Underwriter – Capital Lynk (Montreal, TMR)
Capital Lynk is a leading alternative financing company supporting small and medium-sized businesses across Canada. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Underwriter to join our growing team in Montreal.
Role Overview
You’ll evaluate applications, assess risk, and structure funding offers that directly impact our growth and our clients’ success. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role working closely with our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review applications and financial documents
- Analyze bank statements, cash flow, and credit reports
- Identify risk factors (NSFs, balances, revenue trends)
- Structure and price funding offers
- Communicate decisions with the sales team
Qualifications
- 3+ years underwriting experience (or similar financial services role)
- Strong analytical and financial interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Ability to manage high-volume deal flow
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
