Job Overview
A&W is looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to lead our kitchen team and help deliver great-tasting food and exceptional guest experiences. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for ensuring food quality, maintaining food safety standards, supporting team development, and assisting with daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support kitchen staff during shifts.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to A&W standards and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory management, product ordering, and stock rotation.
- Train and coach team members to ensure consistent performance.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste management.
- Help manage labour, productivity, and shift execution.
- Address operational issues and support restaurant management as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or fast-food experience required.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
