FINISH CARPENTER (DOOR INSTALLER) (Temporary to Permanent)

What You Will Be Doing, as a Finish Carpenter (door installer):
- Hanging and installing interior and exterior doors (wood and metal) within volumetric modular building units to precise specifications.
- Installing door frames, casings, trim, baseboards, hinges, and industrial/residential lockset hardware.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications for accurate installation.
- Adjusting and aligning doors for smooth operation, verifying tight tolerances, margins, and gaps.
- Utilizing a wide variety of hand and power tools safely (pneumatic nail guns, miter saws, drills, planes, and levels).
- Inspecting finished millwork and doors to ensure they meet quality and cosmetic standards.
- Collaborating with assembly line teams to maintain daily production schedules.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, as a Finish Carpenter (door installer):
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finish carpentry, millwork installation, or dedicated door-hanging roles.
- Experience within a manufacturing, assembly line, modular construction, or residential framing environment is highly preferred.
- Superb attention to detail with a high standard for precision and cosmetic finishing.
- Proficient in using measuring tapes (metric and imperial) and basic carpentry tools.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive hand movements).
- Good verbal communication and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must have steel-toed boots (CSA approved) and basic hand tools / tool belt.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
In Return, You Will Receive:
- Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (dependent on experience).
- Stable, year-round indoor work (no weather delays!).
- Paid weekly, every Tuesday.

- 4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.
The Shift You Will be Working is:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Consistent daytime hours (occasional overtime may be available depending on production targets).
Where You Will Be Working, as a Finish Carpenter (door installer):
- Main Intersection: Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16) & 266 Street, Acheson, AB.
- Transit Accessibility: Please note that this industrial area is not transit accessible. You must have a reliable personal vehicle to commute to and from work.
